Take That!

Ok, fine!  I admit it!  I'm a fan of Take That! hahaha. 

Went out yesterday to find a gift for a friend but I found Take That instead.  They have a new CD out called "Beautiful World".    Before I go on, a little history...

It started with the song "back for good".  I was in high school then.  When I heard it, I immediately liked it.   I started "researching" (haha) about the group and when I saw who they are, I fell.  haha.  Just when I thought they are going to last forever, Robbie decided to leave. Sigh. The quartet tried to survive but Robbie left a big scar and soon, Mark and Gary ventured out on their own. I really like Gary so I tried to register as an official Gary Barlow fan. Funny no?  I sent a mail to UK, but the thing is I have to pay to register.  Of course I didn't because I didn't have money back then. HAHAHAHA!

Going  back, when I bought "beautiful world", I wasn't really expecting much. I bought it because I love them and I want to know how they sound now.   So what's the verdict?  I LOVE IT! Their sound, it's more mature.  The lyrics, it’s a new outlook on love and life. I specially love the track ‘ain’t no sense in love’.

Anyway, I have been eyeing their Live in Manchester DVD.  I was hesitant to buy it because I thought it would be too much.  And then, last night, Sha and I were in Gramophone (CD store).  The store has a sofa and a large LCD TV for customers who want to test the VCDs / DVDs.   And guess what they were featuring last night?  Oh yeah, the LIVE in Manchester DVD.  So I watched and lounged in the sofa.  To tell you honestly, I was so happy watching them perform again, I can cry. HAHAHAHAHA.  The concert was great!  The crowd, they definitely love the boys.  They were awesome!!!  In the end, I bought the DVD. 

So what's the verdict for the DVD?  I love it!!!  The Never Forget clip, if you're a fan, you'll feel it, you'll love it.  I say buy it for your own SANITY! (Of course buy the CD too)
